I was born and raised in Gwinnett County, Georgia. My passion to help others led me into the healthcare field. I worked for eight years in the critical care setting. During this time, I encountered many patients whose mental health struggles affected their physical health and overall well-being. I decided to pursue my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree in 2017. I worked for three years in the acute care setting as an NP for Consult Liaison Psychiatry before transitioning to the outpatient setting. I find my job extremely rewarding and strive to provide compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based care to all my patients.
On a personal note, I am married to my husband of nearly ten years. We met in the hospital at my first job as a newly graduated RN. We have two children and a (very) sassy Catahoula Leopard dog. I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and exploring national parks. Go Dawgs!
